Retail Shelving & Retail Shelves

Quality retail shelves offer you a better chance of making a great first impression on your customers.
Making a reasonable investment in sturdy, colorful retail shelves will immediately distinguish you from your competitors. Quality retail gondola shelving lets you put your best items in the most prominent locations in your store. Your Christmas displays will prove much more effective when presented in the most attractive fashion possible.

With only two types of retail shelving you can create any number of display types.
If you want to create more aisle space in your store, double-sided used retail display shelves are the best way to go. The single piece construction makes them easy to maneuver into any direction. Individual units themselves measure only 48” across—the perfect size for you to create aisles of any length in any part of your store.

Single-sided gondola retail shelves also measure 48” across. You can use them to fill gaps in your wall, create corner displays for special attention, or even stack against the end of aisles as end caps. Both double-sided and single-sided retail shelves are adjustable. You can move each individual shelf up or down the spine of the display, creating space for products of all sizes. To prevent top shelves from blocking lower shelves, you can adjust the depths of individual convenience store shelves anywhere from 12” to 22”. This allows light to reach all labels and products and ensure that they grab the attention of passing shoppers.

Your current retail shelving may be limiting the success of your loss prevention efforts.
Due to the need to push as much inventory out the door during Christmas, many retailers often assume that the bigger the display, the better. This assumption can result in the loss of thousands of dollars to theft. New and used rack shelves that are too tall give shoplifters too much to hide behind. Store employees cannot see over shelving that is more than 84” tall, and if ceilings are low, security cameras often cannot see all the way to the floor, either.

A much better alternative is to replace displays that are excessively tall with 72”-84” retail used store shelving racks that offer greater adjustability and a higher weight capacity per shelf. Easy Rack shelves can hold up to 350 pounds each, allowing the same amount of merchandise to be stored along a longer horizontal surface that still allows for employee and remote monitoring over the tops of shelves. Smaller stores like gift shops, flower shops, accessories stores, and boutiques really should stick with display fixtures that are no more than 72” tall. Larger grocery stores and clothing stores with higher ceilings can use racks that are up to 84” in height, but no more than that.

While this may seem complicated, it does not have to be. Easy Rack will help you develop an entirely new layout plan if you are serious about considering what we have to offer. Just send us a floor plan or pictures of our store and we will email or fax you are suggestions along with your quote.
