If you want to create more aisle space in your store, double-sided used retail display shelves are the best way to go. The single piece construction makes them easy to maneuver into any direction. Individual units themselves measure only 48” across—the perfect size for you to create aisles of any length in any part of your store.

Single-sided gondola retail shelves also measure 48” across. You can use them to fill gaps in your wall, create corner displays for special attention, or even stack against the end of aisles as end caps. Both double-sided and single-sided retail shelves are adjustable. You can move each individual shelf up or down the spine of the display, creating space for products of all sizes. To prevent top shelves from blocking lower shelves, you can adjust the depths of individual convenience store shelves anywhere from 12” to 22”. This allows light to reach all labels and products and ensure that they grab the attention of passing shoppers.

Due to the need to push as much inventory out the door during Christmas, many retailers often assume that the bigger the display, the better. These platforms are the most heavy duty units we have and are built for crates and machinery. The smaller pallet scale measures 48” X 48” and can handle capacities of either 5,000 or 10,000 lbs. It features solid steel construction covered with a diamond tread safety pad. The larger heavy duty pallet scale also features a lead-free epoxy coating over steel, diamond tread safety pad and measures 60” X 60”. It can weigh up to 20,000 lbs at a time, and is ideal for distribution centers that have to make sure that every truck is loaded—but not overloaded—to capacity

If you are weighing food of any kind, you do not need as much weight capacity and must use stainless steel platform scales due to health and sanitation concerns. What kind of used store shelving do you sell?
We sell double sided and single-sided used store shelves. Double-sided gondola shelving is also known as aisle shelving because it is mostly used to create shopping aisles in the middle of the store. However, because ALL used store shelving displays measure a standard 48” across, a double-sided unit can work very well as a stand along display in the front of the store. Single-sided shelves, also used as end caps I in many stores, are very easy to fit into gaps along the wall and tight corners where larger display shelving cannot fit.

If my displays are dark, shouldn't I buy new light fixtures first?
No. Upgrading light fixtures is going to cost too much money. Instead, spend a portion of your budget on used store shelves that will allow you to adjust the height and width of each horizontal support. Because each shelf on a display rack can support 350 pounds without bending or buckling in the middle, you can move shelves around to let more light onto key products. Also, you can vary the depth of each individual shelf between 12” and 22”, allowing for light to “cascade” throughout the display from top to bottom and spread illumination over your entire product inventory.

What sizes and colors do you have in used store shelving?
All of our used retail store shelves are available in a wide range of colors. We have white, beige, gray, black, and off-white, just to name a few. Our most popular color is almond, due to its “low profile” neutrality that make it a perfect background for so many different product types.

What heights do used store shelves come in?
They measure between 48” to 84”. We recommend that you carefully study your own floor plan before you arbitrarily buy the tallest store shelf available. Instead, use the internal adjustability to get more out of the space within the shelf, and keep the exterior size of the storage shelf as small as possible. The more easily you can see over the tops of shelves, the easier it becomes to spread honesty around your store along with holiday cheer.

Industrial Scales & Commercial Scales

Industrial scales allow you to weigh products, raw materials, and heavy objects. They are a vital material handling tool in food processing facilities and fishing canneries. Pharmaceutical companies also rely on weight scales, and distribution centers are going to need at least one heavy- duty industrial scale to make sure that trucks are loaded—but not overloaded—to capacity.

Easy Rack industrial scales are made quick-connects and offer factory calibration that gives your facility an easy setup and user-friendly operability. We have four series models you can choose from. Sizes measure either 48” X 48” or 60” X 60”. Platforms can handle anywhere between 5,000-20,000 pounds, depending on the model. Standard models are coated with a lead-epoxy finish, whereas heavy-duty models are made from a stainless-steel platter that is covered with a diamond tread platform. Each weight scale sits on four adjustable legs and features 5,000 division load cells to ensure stability during any operation.

You do not need any accessories to install our industrial scales. Every platform comes ready to use right out of the box, with a 25 foot heavy-duty cable that plugs right into the indicator. High-volume facilities such as meat processing plants, markets, manufacturers operating multiple assembly lines, and foundries prefer to use our industrial scales because they ensure a quick setup and ease of use with no downtime or mishap.

Equally important as the capacity of any industrial scale is the measurement indicator that reads it. Without it, the platform does little practical good! Easy Rack offers four different monitor options for every industrial crane scale we sell. Our standard indicator -- EWI (economical weigh indicator)—comes with every scale unless otherwise specified. It is economical and provides an ideal monitor for most standard weigh operations involving livestock, trucks, and heavy-duty pallets.

The EWI can be used to measure anything from 10kg to 10 tons. It is also able to convert kilograms to pounds with a touch of a keypad. The LCD display is lit up by a backlight, so it is easy to read no matter where you place it. It printer and is hermetically sealed to ensure dependability regardless of the conditions. For very humid or rainy conditions, we also have a waterproof model we can install for you.

Even sophisticated indicators can be installed on Easy Rack industrial scales by request. Advanced, programmable indicators that offer dual platform capabilities, 40,000 external divisions, and an NTEP approved rating are often necessary in factories and other specialized industrial facilities. Used Stack Racks & Stack Racking

Used stack racks allow you to utilize more space by protecting your products and equipment in contained structure. You can stack these racks as high as five units vertically, and you can store them when they are empty in spaces that are even more compact and efficient than that. Some used stack racks can even function as alternatives to more expensive and bulky pallet racking systems. Load Nester Racks
These portable used stack racks and racking help prevent product damage and consolidate storage space. When fully loaded, they can be stacked three to five high if they are fully loaded, or they can be stored and/or shipped in tight, compact bundles. Stackable Tire Racks
The most popular tire stacking rack is the perforated deck design. While also expensive, this rack can be very affordable when purchased in good, used condition. Cantilever Lumber Storage Racks & Racking

What are some important things to consider when ordering cantilever lumber racks?
Cantilever lumber storage racks offer a very low-cost precision inventory control any business involved in the distribution of lumber or the manufacture of wooden products like furniture. They also help protect lumber by keeping it off the floor. It is also best to have cantilever racking custom built if you are storing lumber. You may be working with a wide range of wood types and varying degrees of width, length, and thickness of boards. Evenly distributed the load is an absolute necessity, because if the load is uneven, your cantilever rack will instantly lose 50% of its total potential weight capacity.

How can I make sure I calculate the capacity and size of my rack correctly?

Are cantilever racks better for storing lumber than pallet racks?
In most instances, yes. This is for two reasons. One, you have to stack lumber in piles on a pallet rack. Retrieval and inventory are much more difficult when lumber is stored on a flat surface than on the cradle that cantilever arms provide. Secondly, cantilever lumber racks can be built very tall and no nearly as deep as pallet racks. This is ideal for space saving in cramped quarters.

Are there other benefits to storing lumber on cantilever racks?
Yes. Keeping lumber off the floor minimizes the risk of it being damaged by material handling equipment and forklifts. It also prevents people from tripping over the lumber. Secondly, in many states such as the Gulf Coast region, even the interior of the warehouse can be very hot and humid. Stacking lumber near bay doors that constantly open and close exposes wood to humidity and heat. Lifting it higher and nearer to HVAC ducts can cool it down and keep it drier, provided the facilities HVAC system is built in this fashion.

What type of cantilever rack works best for storing lumber?
The structural rack is the type we recommend. It is ideal for heavy duty applications and provides maximum column strength and supportive bracing. Almost all structural cantilever systems are made using structural columns and bases, roll-formed arms, horizontal bracing, and X-Bracing that reinforce the backs of the unit. We strongly recommend all storage racks be bolted to concrete bases if used outside or the concrete floor of the warehouse if used inside. Single-sided and double sided systems are both available. What types of traffic barricades do you sell?
Easy Rack sells traffic barricades in two basic designs. Poly cade barricades are made to resemble small “walls” that can be used to block off areas from people and vehicles. They can be used as standalone units, or they can be put together in tandem to make an artificial wall spanning a roadway, runway, or entire parking lot. Larger barrier traffic barricades are barrels that are constructed from special materials that can be filled with sand, gravel, or even water to make them heavy and resistant to large vehicle impact.

How can these traffic barricades be used?
They can be used to control both vehicle and human foot traffic in almost any public or commercial space. We see them almost every day in parking lots and roadways under construction. We also see them used to block off areas where hazardous materials are stored. Chemical companies typically use some sort of traffic barricade to prevent people and equipment from being damaged by exposure to dangerous materials and industrial bi-products. Many forms of machinery in large factories can also be potentially unsafe if untrained employees, clients, or visitors to the factory get to close.
