Cylinder Cabinets
and Transport
It is
essential that you safely store and organize your LP gas storage tanks. It is also vital to your worker safety
and process flow that you rapidly move these tanks in a quick, safe, and
ergonomic manner. There are a
number of cylinder storage transport products that you can use to consolidate
and itemize your LP tank inventory, and increase the portability of these vital
components to your operations cycle.
These products include cylinder storage cabinets and transport caddies
that are engineered for maximum safely, ergonomic portability, and maximum tank
capacity.

Cylinder Storage
Cabinets
Steel
cabinets with open-air sides are the best tools to use for storing LP gas
tanks. These units feature rugged
steel construction and powder-coat safety yellow finish for maximum
visibility. The storage capacities
of these cabinets will vary based upon the size of the tanks stored within
them. Expanded steel mesh sides
make these units strong, and they also keep contents to be ventilated, visible,
and easy to catalogue.
The
top of each cylinder storage cabinet is made from a solid sheet of steel. Lockable doors and lag holes in the base
of the cabinet allow you to secure your LP tanks against unauthorized use. Each unit has been engineered for
maximum compliance with both OSHA and NFPA standards, including a red letter
sign that reads “Flammable.”
Galvanized Cylinder Storage
Cabinets
In
certain outdoor and coastal environments with high atmospheric salt content,
steel needs to be galvanized to protect it against corrosion. Galvanized cylinder storage cabinets are
built from 100 percent steel that has been coated with a galvanized rust
resistant finish. These units offer
the advantage of sturdy, reliable performance in outdoor environments and
extreme climates. They are also
ideal for coastal ports like Houston and
Charleston where
atmospheric saline content is high.
Each unit meets OSHA 1910.110 requirements. The sides are made from 4 gauge
galvanized welded wires with sturdy 1 ˝ inch square steel angle frames. This gives the unit a stable center of
gravity on any surface. Additional
rust protection comes in the form of a 12 gauge galvanized steel roof. The cabinet includes a padlock hasp for
security and a “Danger Flammable Materials sign”.
Fork Truck LP Tank
Caddy
The
Fork Truck cylinder transport caddy will move up to 6 LP tanks measuring 12" in
diameter each. It features 100 percent steel construction and is held in place
by safety chains.
LP Tank Truck
This all in one cylinder transport cart will allow you to transport
LP tanks to any location where you need them. It is engineered with heavy-duty welded
steel construction and features a painted finish. It also includes a built-in crane that
you can use to safely load full tanks onto fork trucks. The crane will pivot up
to 360° for maximum mobility in any direction.
You can
raise and lower the crane boom by using a simple manual, hydraulic lift hand
pump. During transport, each
cylinder is secured in place by the attachment at the end of the boom. The unit also features built-in racks
that store two cylinders in the vertical position and four tanks in the
horizontal position. Every tank
truck also features a push handle that has two rigid and two swivel casters for
easy mobility.
