Digital Platform Scales

The digital indicator on a platform scale is one of its most important components.  No matter how well the scale holds up under heavy-duty conditions and no matter how reliably it performs, is usefulness is negated if no one can get an accurate reading of its measurements.  This is why Easy Rack combines some of the most reliable, stable, and user-friendly platform scales with the most sophisticated and precision digital indicators.  All models are interchangeable with one another, meaning that organizations can select the scales they want and have it fitted with the indicator that is most appropriate to their industry and business model.  All digital scale indicators are NTEP approved and feature quick disconnect functionality.

Our digital platform scale indicators come in five different model types.  The first of these, the Economical Weighing indicator, is the stand model sold with every industrial scale unless otherwise specified by the client.  This is also our most economically priced indicator, featuring 8,000 external divisions, a rechargeable battery, and a ¾” back lit LCD display for operation in a variety of lighting conditions. 

More detailed readings can be obtained from our Affordable Programmable Weighing Indicator.  Capable of toggling between pounds and kilograms, it too features 8,000 external divisions and a keyboard tare.  We also offer a very similar spill proof model that is specifically designed for harsh environments.

If price is not a factor and precision is absolutely necessary, the Precise Programmable Weighting indicator is the way to go.  This indicator can provide readouts from two platforms simultaneously, and has the highest number of external divisions of any digital platform scale indicator we sell—40,000 in total.  It also has a much larger LCD display—1 1/4”, and is made from stainless steel construction.

Another precision model very popular in food processing, pharmaceuticals and certain industrial environments is the Precise Counting Indicator.  Featuring a counting indicator and 10,000 external divisions, it has the ability to toggle between lb, kg, AND oz, it is the offers the most precise digitized reading of any platform scale indicator.  It also has a programmable tare and can communicate with PCs through RS-232.  This is a favored model in the food industry where exact measurements and sterility are vital to packaging meat, fish, and vegetables.

The great thing about purchasing all of these platform scale digital indicators is their ability to work with any one of our industrial scale models.  We have four standard models available in two distinctive manufacture and dimensions.  For industrial use only, we have steel platform digital scales that are coated with lead-free epoxy.  For more sensitive application in the food and medical industries, we have stainless steel platform scales.  Both material builds are available in standard (48” X 48”) and heavy duty (60” X 60”) dimensions.  Weight capacities range from 5,000 and 10,000 lbs for stainless steel models up to 20,000 lbs for the largest model.  All digital platform scales come ready to use straight out of the box, and offer plug and play compatibility with any of our indicators.  All scales measure less than 3” tall and feature diamond tread safety pads on the larger dimension models.
