Security Bollards.

Security Bollards create both physical and visual barriers between areas of traffic and sensitive and/or restricted areas.  Security bollards differ somewhat from other bollards in that they are not intended to completely block access to an area, but rather limit it to authorized personnel only.

In instances where companies have to remodel or expand existing facilities, security bollards can be used to keep unauthorized personnel out of areas under construction.  They can also be used to regulate traffic in restricted areas, and some of them can be moved from location to location at will.

Folding Security Bollards.

Folding security bollards act as barrier posts for parking lot access and parking control.  They are excellent for facilities that have designated employee parking areas adjacent to commercial vehicle and delivery areas. 

When these bollards are in the upright position, they restrict access.  When they are released, they fold and lay flat on the ground, allowing vehicle traffic to safely pass over them.  These bollards can be locked into place to prevent unauthorized lowering.  Easy Rack recommends professional installation of folding security bollards due to the special manner in which base plates must be lagged to the ground to support them.  Folding bollards are made of steel and can be obtained in powder coat yellow or galvanized finish.

Steel Safety and Security Bollards.

These bollards feature welded steel construction and can be used both indoors and outdoors to protect work areas, racking and personnel.  They are available in powder coated, safety yellow finish.  4½" and 5½" diameter units feature molded rubber caps.  Steel caps are welded onto the 1¾" diameter units. The base plate measures 8" x 8" on the 4.5 and 5.5 units (5" x5" on the 1¾" units), and include four (4) pre-drilled mounting holes. Mounting kits and replacement caps are available upon request from Easy Rack.

Movable Security Bollard (with Wheels).

Movable Bollards provide a portable, visual barrier when an area needs temporary protection. They are ideal for use when keeping traffic out of a temporarily hazardous area or area under repair. Bollards can be used indoors or outdoors. Mold-on-rubber wheels are standard movable security bollards. Units are manufactured with powder-coated yellow finish for high visibility.
