New & Used Commercial Retail Display Racks & Shelving Supplies.
Storeowners who invest now in display racking put themselves in an ideal position to capitalize on the last two weeks of Christmas shopping and be ready for those after Christmas specials that can jump start your New Year. Easy Rack display racks are built with decoration, adjustability, and space management foremost in mind. Regardless of the size of your store, you can compete with the largest of retail chains by adding new dimensions to your interior layout. It is not so much a matter of the number of display racks you invest in, but the way you arrange them along your walls and down your aisles. Making the most of what you have and taking a “less is more” approach allows you to be frugal with your purchasing and still get more room and merchandising power out of your showroom space.
We have two types of display racking available that can help you do this. Aisle shelving is used to create shopping aisles down the center of your store. These display racks are double sided with shelving that can be vertically moved and adjusted to varying depths ranging from 12” to 22”. Wall shelving is single-sided and is intended to function as wall displays or end cap display. Wall racks also feature shelves that can be adjusted in depth and vertical positioning. Although these shelves are remarkably easy to maneuver, they are incredibly sturdy. Each one can hold up to 350 pounds in weight, allowing store owners to place larger, more expensive items at eye level without fear of them making the display rack top heavy or collapsing the shelf underneath.
The ability to adjust the depth of shelving on display racks cannot be emphasized enough. The biggest enemy to merchandising is darkness. If all the shelves on a rack or positioned at equal depths, overhead lighting gets blocked by the top shelves and merchandise on the bottom gets obscured by shadows. By altering the depths of shelves based on the angle of lighting, an evenly lit display can be created that shows every item in full color and makes labels and pricing clearly visible to shoppers.
The horizontal width of both single sided and double sided display racking is 48”. This has proven to be the best standard of measurement for creating both shopping aisles and filling in gaps along the wall. 48” is also an ideal horizontal width for many end cap displays, creating just enough of a focal point to attract attention without sacrificing shelf space for storage. Even in smaller convenience stores and gas stations, a 48” single-shelf display rack can often be squeezed between the lotto stand and the ATM, making a very tempting showcase for people pulling out money they have already decided to spend.
Both new and used display racking features a wide range of colors that allow storeowners to add an extra decorative appeal to their interior. Most storeowners send us pictures of their interior and ask for our assistance in matching display colors to existing interior decorative themes. Some want the brightest colors for Christmas. Regardless, space planning is the key to customizing display racks to the specific interior and line of merchandise a store promotes. Easy Rack specialists will assist all serious inquirers with developing an application-specific floor plan for new or used shelving.
