When is special masonry equipment needed on a job site?
Anytime you are constructing a building consisting of 65% brick or more. Even if the entirety of the building itself is made from other materials, you may still need, heavy duty masonry equipment if portions of the blue print call for brick walls or basements.

What is the least expensive form of scaffolding to use?
Veneer scaffolding is much less expensive than standard scaffolds and will perform quite well for smaller wall and basement construction. Veneer scaffolds weigh 35lbs or less and are made with single-piece construction that requires no assembly. They stand on adjustable legs that allow you to stand them up on either a flat or a sloping surface to creating a stable and safe two-level work platforms for all of your masonry equipment, tools, and supplies.

What is the quickest way to move bricks around on a site?
We recommend using brick carts that are made with special forks that allow them to grab stacks of brick at a time. Workers have said that it often takes them less than 1/3 the amount of time to spot brick around a construction site using a construction work cart than it does with other masonry equipment

What other specialized masonry equipment do you have in stock?
Forklifts can move mortar around in mortar tubs, then store and stack the tubs at the end of the day. If forklifts cannot access the part of the wall your crew is working on, you can substitute on or more mortar buggies that will do the same thing. If your crew is standing at heights over 4.5 or 5”, you consider plaster and masonry stands that will elevate equipment and tools so workers do not have to bend down to reach them.

Is there such a thing as heavier duty masonry equipment?
In a sense you could classify crane forks as heavier duty crane attachments. These special forks are designed to pick up banded blocks and brick pallets and balance them on a steady center of gravity. You may need to use crane forks rather than brick carts if your crew is working on a very large wall or if you are moving heavy block.

Garden Hose reels are an essential tool for landscape contractors and maintenance personnel. In almost every corporate landscape there is some type of flora, fauna, foliage, greenery, or flower bed that needs to be watered on a daily basis. Trying to wrestle with a large, cumbersome hose can be an ergonomic strain to workers and slow down an operation if the hose becomes tangles, kinked, bent, or tied in mysterious knots that somehow always seem to tie themselves in hoses. Fork Lift Platforms

The quick elevation of maintenance personnel to overhead racks and shelving is essential to the smooth operations of any organization. The key is to transport them with the best assurance of safety in the process to avoid injuries, downtime, and possible liabilities. Forklift work platforms are an excellent way to accomplish both safe and speedy transportation of workers from one part of the plant to the other. Simply by attaching one of these work platforms to the front of your forklift, you create an entirely new form of vehicle that is intended for a specific, unique function and designed to fulfill that function with the highest level of human safety.
Forklift work platforms are built with fork pockets in the back that allow them to be accessed by the forks of a fork truck. Dock levelers provide movable, vertical ramp platforms that can be raised and lowered to create a level surface between the loading dock and the interior of a truck trailer. A dock leveler must be stable and able to handle extremely heavy loads. Because trailer beds can vary extensively in size, dock levelers have to be able to reach a variety of heights, and they must also provide a stable platform that provides traction for material handling equipment, personnel, and odd-sized or cumbersome loads.

Truck Actuated Dock Leveler
The Easy Rack Truck Actuated dock leveler can easily support up to 20,000 lbs. of materials and supplies. It features a lift bypass feature that helps prevent damage to obstructions and doors, and it also features an automatic return to cross traffic. You can customize this dock leveler upon request.
