Used Store Racks & Display Shelves

My store shelves are warped and damaged, but I cannot afford new displays.
You can save up to 40% by investing in used new or used store display shelves. Easy Rack offers a full array of colors and sizes needed to fully equip you with the very best possible presentation tools. Our goal is to help you improve the look and feel of your showroom without costing you an arm and a leg. Less can be done with more, as they say, because the whole point of this is not to spend a lot of money on a lot of displays, but rather spend enough money on the right kind of displays that will enable you to add, remove, and change layouts at will. Using store display shelves by Easy Rack will give you more options, more economy, and more versatility this Christmas and on into New Years.

Will your used display shelves guarantee me more sales?
No one can guarantee anyone sales in this economy, but we can reasonably assure you that the quality of our used retail store display shelving will certainly attract attention and motivate people to consider making a purchase. .

What standard sizes do you sell?
Used store shelves are sold in heights ranging from 48” on up to 84”. There are double-sided store displays used for aisle shelving, and there are single-sided displays, used for wall shelving. All units share the common width of 48” to make them easier to fit together, and to also make them easier to move around if you want to change your store layout.

Many store owners often use both double-sided grocery shelving and single-sided retail shelving as standalone units. The many applications you can use these store display shelves for are as limitless as your imagination.
You can place shelving displays in corners, beneath windows, just inside the door, and even outside for sidewalk sales. Locking these shelves together lets you custom build any length of aisle or wall shelving you wish, making Easy Rack store fixtures a perfect too for space utilization and consolidation.

How adjustable are used display shelves?
They are very adjustable, being designed to let you increase the cubic volume of each individual display unit. By moving shelves up and down, you can place larger items near the top. This will not warp the shelves, either, because they are sturdy enough to hold up to 350 pounds. The depth of every display shelf can also be adjusted between 12” and 22”, allowing more light to reach products on the bottom obscured by shadows. This is another way to get maximum use of your store shelving displays and catch the attention of this season’s very cautious and frugal buyer.

Commercial Racking & Structural Pallet Racks

Pallet Rack System
Pallet rack systems are material mass storage units intended to store palletized products. Pallet racks can either be built inside a warehouse, or they can be constructed in yards for specific outdoor uses. Many different design styles exist, each one made for specific storage environments and content requirements.

Although pallet racks systems can vary widely in size and design build, every system is constructed built using three basic types of components: uprights, beams, and wire deck. The weight capacities and structural strength of these components ultimately determine the build, structure, and function of the pallet rack they are used to construct.

Uprights
Upright frames are large verticals that form the structural frames of pallet racking systems. They determine how tall and how deep the unit. Each upright has two tall beams and all the necessary components that connect them together. Frame sizes range from 72" to 192" high. Some custom racks are even larger. Pallet rack depths will range anywhere from 36" to 48". Every system needs to be built with a minimum of two upright frames.

Beams
Beams are horizontal components affixed to the upright vertical frames. Easy Rack beams are made for safe and easy installation. Systems can be built with any number of beam sizes and duties. When these capacities are proportionally calculated in reference to upright capacities, a pallet racking system can be built for a specific warehouse, particular product, and specific operation. Add-ons can be used to further customize any pallet rack system to make it a truly custom solution to your unique operational and storage requirements.

Wire Decks
Not every pallet rack system uses wire deck. Structural steel is considerably stronger and is preferred for the most heavy-duty pallet racking. However, less intensive weight requirements can be accommodated just as effectively with wire decks. Wire decks are sometimes even required by municipalities with strict fire codes that mandate that no equipment be allowed to block the water from sprinkler systems. The cost benefits of reducing potential fire damage represent both preventative maintenance and possibly a reduction of insurance rates should your insurance carrier offer discounts for safety measures such as fire prevention.

There are many different pallet rack system design styles, each of which offers its own unique features, advantages, and benefits to specific storage environments and material handling applications. The most popular pallet rack system is the teardrop design, which has become virtually an industry standard in most warehousing environments. It is a very versatile design featuring a standardized “teardrop” connection that allows uprights and crossbeams made by different manufacturers to be interchanged at will.

Structural pallet rack systems are the true draft horses of the material storage world. These large, powerful units are normally bolted together. Very large structural rack built directly into the side of a building a the time of new construction.

Other designs by Easy Rack include Speed Rack, Sturdibilt, Ridg-U-Rac. Custom new and used models are available throughout the Continental United States.

New Display Racks & Used Display Racking

We have two types of display racking available that can help you improve your merchandising and increase your sales. Double-sided display racks are used to create shopping aisles in the center and side areas of your store. Each shelf on these display racks can be moved up or down and adjusted to varying depths ranging from 12” to 22”. This allows for any sized product to be showcased on the shelf (weight capacity is 350 pounds) and for light to reach all levels of the display rack because display depth is varied to prevent higher shelves from blocking lower shelves.

Single-sided wall display shelving can then be added along walls and used as end caps along the aisles. Wall shelving display racks measure 48” across—allowing them to be used to fill even the smallest of gaps along the walls, or to convert corner space into selling space. We sell a lot of single sided display racking by the individual unit to gas stations who want to fill the space between their lotto stand and their ATM machine with an attractive, tempting display.

In order to make your retail display look the best it can possibly look, you also need new or used racks that are attractive in and of themselves. This is why all of our used and new store shelving is painted to match any number of color schemes and interior designs we find in our clients’ stores. Especially at Christmas and New Years, color sells as much as merchandise in some markets. You can choose from colors ranging from white, off white, gray, beige, and almond, just to name a few. If you are planning to redecorate for the last minute Christmas rush, let us help you pick a new look and create a new layout. Space management planning is included with your quote if you are seriously interested in our display shelf products.

Invest now in display racking puts you in the very best possible position to make the most of the last two weeks of Christmas shopping and to jump start your New Year with an after-the-holidays sales event. Remember, it is strategy and quality that will win the day for you. It is neither necessary nor advisable to spend a lot of money on commercial racking. Just spend enough to make the most of your floor plan and to utilize every square inch of otherwise wasted wall space. With a reasonable investment in yourself, your customers will immediately notice the difference between you and competing retailers who did not take the time to plan and make the best impression possible.

Warehouse Shelves & Shelving Systems

Most companies realize they need new warehouse shelves when they run out of space and are facing an imminent move. In many cases the move is not necessary because plenty of space still exists within the facility. Poorly organized supplies, materials, and products can quickly fill a room with clutter, creating the perception that space is limited when it really is not. Both floor space and vertical cube space often go wasted, unnoticed as to the potential they represent.

Warehouse shelving will convert this horizontal and vertical space accordingly into highly organized compartments of efficiency. Products and supplies can then be sorted and stored by category, type, size, or material build, making it easier to maintain track of inventory in the process. Knowing exact counts of crates, boxes, parts, products, and raw materials is the best way to avoid over purchasing, and accurate inventory records also play a very big role in tax valuation at the end of each quarter.

Sometimes sensitive materials like certain chemicals need their own special storage area for safety reasons. They require certain temperatures and a certain level of ventilation to remain stable indoors. Smaller warehouse shelves can be placed in these areas and used to store these substances with minimal hazard to employees and the environment.

Warehouses that see a lot of shipping and receiving activity perhaps benefit the most from shelving units. When trucks and forklifts are rapidly loading and unloading supplies it is vital to stay on top of process flow. The organization that warehouse shelving offers such an operation can mean the difference between staying on schedule or falling behind and having to make up the difference during costly overtime.

The type of warehouse shelving used in a specific environment depends a great deal on the weight of the load it is supporting and the method of retrieval workers used to access materials on the shelf. Different sized industrial shelving units are used in specific environments. The strength of the shelf will to a certain extent determine what can be stored on it.

Workers who need to quickly retrieve small parts or boxes will have a much easier time working with open backed warehouse shelves because they can access these units from the back and the sides as well as the front. Smaller open backed shelves are also used by office managers to store office supplies and documents.

Parts storage is commonly done by adding plates to the shelves inside closed back units. This creates bins that small components can be stored in. 18 gauge and 20 gauge closed back warehouse shelves that can easily support 400-450 lbs in weight are routinely used for storing boxes in stockrooms. They can also be connected together to create box shelving systems that can hold up to 2,000 pounds in weight.

For storage of loads totaling over 2,000 pounds in weight, we recommend long span warehouse shelving. Long span systems, or wide span as they are also known, can convert entire walls into storage areas and can support loads of up to 35,000 pounds. Wide span units are designed with a unique two-piece steel beam support that increases the unitʼs center of gravity and more evenly distributes heavy loads over the surface of the shelves.
