Lift Tables

Lift Tables
Ergonomic Electric Hydraulic Heavy Duty Lift Tables! Lifting tables are the ergonomic solution to reducing repetitive motion injury, increasing morale, and maximizing material handling process flow efficiency.

Ergonomic Lift Tables
Tilt tables and ergonomic lift tables are solutions to reducing repetitive motion injury. They improve and facilitate process flow, and they help increase morale, and maximize efficiency. Cumulative trauma disorders and repetitive stress injuries are cited as two of Americaʼs greatest workplace health problems. Each year these injuries result in individual suffering, lost revenue, and decreased efficiency. Lift tables alleviate these injuries by either elevating materials on a horizontal platform to a safe and comfortable height for workers to access without stress or strain. Tilt tables elevate one end of a box, crate, or basket to a desired angle in order to facilitate the loading or unloading of its contents.

Electric Lift Tables
Electric Lift Tables feature an open center design that allows a pallet truck to place a load on the platform. This lift table is protected by an external power pack equipped with a pressure relief valve that prevents overloading. The unit also features a flow control valve that controls the lowering speed. The remote power pack comes complete with steel cover to protect the motor from dust and debris. You can raise and lower the electric lift table using the UP and DOWN push-buttons on the 24V control box. Safety features include electric toe guards, velocity fuse in cylinders, safety maintenance props and an emergency stop button on the control box.

Electric-hydraulic lift tables employ a hydraulic system powered by an electric motor that elevates containers and materials. They are used in almost every type of manufacturing and warehouse environment. Electric hydraulic lift tables come with a number of safety mechanisms including toe guards to protect pinch points during lowering of the table, and brass velocity fuses to maintain platform height regardless of hydraulic pressure. The electric lift table is easy to operate by means of a 24V push-button hand control linked to a 2HP electric motor. The unit also includes a maintenance prop and an upper travel limit switch that stops the table at a maximum height to reduce motor wear.

Hydraulic lifting and tilting table
This table with either lift or tilt materials to a standard 45° angle when necessary. Its restraining chain and 12" high lip helps secure the load during tilting. Safety features include an electric toe guard to shield workers from pinch points during lowering of tables and velocity fuses to stop travel due to loss of hydraulic pressure. Every hydraulic scissor lifting table also features a 4 push-button hand pendent control on an 8 foot coil cord, upper limit switch to stop travel at maximum height reducing motor wear and maintenance prop. Ends tilt standard; side tilt is also available. Optional accordion skirting can be ordered through your Easy Rack account manager for both the lifting and tilting portions of the table.

Mobile Lift Table
Portable scissor tables and heavy duty powered lift tables transport and elevate the most heavy duty loads in your plant or warehouse. A powerful 12V DC powered unit with deep cycle battery and an on-board battery charger is standard. You can also order the mobile lift table with an optional battery charge indicator. The unite features 8" phenolic casters (2 swivel and 2 rigid), a floor lock, and patented electric pinch point guards. A hand held pendant control with an 8 foot coil cord and mounting brackets can be ordered separately. The mobile lift table has a minimum frame width of 34". Add 25" to platform length for the overall length.

Ergonomic Lifting Equipment

What does ergonomics mean in the material handling business?
Wikipedia defines Ergonomics as the application of scientific information concerning objects, systems and environment for human use (definition adopted by the International Ergonomics Association in 2007).

Ergonomics is commonly thought of as how companies design tasks and work areas to maximize the efficiency and quality of their employees’ work. However, ergonomics comes into everything which involves people. Work systems, sports and leisure, health and safety should all embody ergonomics principles if well designed. The goal of ergonomics and human factors is to make the interaction of humans with machines as smooth as possible, enhancing performance, reducing error, and increasing user satisfaction through comfort and aesthetics.

Does Easy Rack provide ergonomic equipment such as lifts and work tables?
Ergonomic lifting equipment by Easy Rack is designed to anticipate every situation where a worker may need to strain his or her back in the process of elevating equipment or supplies and to provide a safe, efficient method of material handling that will safeguard both the body and the materials being moved to the maximum possible degree.

Scissor Lifts
Scissor lifts are an ingenious form of ergonomic lift that utilizes two diagonal cross beams that pivot from a central point much like the blades of a scissor open and close. Easy Rack supplies both standard scissor lifts and scissor lift tables that combine the power of a fulcrum point with a sturdy, horizontal surface that can raise boxes, tools, and building materials straight off the ground with no strain to the arms, neck, or back.

Ergonomic Lifting Accessories
Due to the wide range of uses ergonomic lifts are deployed for in factories and warehouses, it is necessary to customize these devices to task as much as possible. A customized tool offers the advantages of increased safety and better performance, and it benefits a company with reduced risk of injury or damage to materials being handled. Every day, Easy Rack continues to expand its inventory with all necessary accessories required to fully customize the basic designs of scissor lifts, hydraulic lifts and tilt tables to the task at hand.

Everything from AC portable motors, air/oil approach ramps, battery chargers and battery charge indicators, to casters and handle kits can be obtained simply by browsing through our selection or consulting with an Easy Rack specialist trained in the customization and efficient use of battery powered ergonomic lifting equipment.

The uni-tilt is one of the most versatile material handling tools that manufacturing and distribution clients can invest in.

The uni-tilt is one of the most versatile material handling tools that manufacturing and distributorship clients can invest in.

Minimizing the time that workers spend unloading and processing each individual component can make the difference between project completion on time and costly overhead and double time. Warehouse employees find the uni-tilt invaluable because it combines compact size and user-friendly operable. This combination allows them to unload containers at maximum speed with minimum physical effort—leaving more time and energy to efficient and safe storage of product on shelving, mezzanine systems, and storage racks. Easy Rack offers several series of ergonomic material handling including uni-tilts from which procurement specialists and facilities managers may choose.

The single scissor lift and tilt table is one of our more popular uni-tilts.

An integrated maintenance lock on this series uni-tilt helps prevents accidental slippage. It also includes a pressure-plated pump and pressure-compensated flow valve that helps to ensure smooth, consistent operation. The engineering of the uni-tilt’s pump, valve, and oil return system give it multi-functionality on the facility floor. Workers can more easily control the unit with a selector pedal that they are able to operate with their feet—leaving their hands free for work. The lift can either elevate a container while tilting it, or tilt the container first and then lift it. The Single Scissor Lift and Tilt Table includes a 2 HP AC power unit that features a hand pendant control operating at standard 208-230/460V, 3 PH. This is a stationary unit and works best in locations where multiple workers are handling shipping/receiving orders or product intake, allocation, and storage. Platform sizes range from 24" x 48" to 96" x 48". Load capacity on the largest uni-tilts is 6,000 lbs.

For the same ergonomic efficiency that can be combined when needed with the mobility of a fork truck, Easy Rack also provides industrial clients with the Portable uni-tilt.

Like its stationary counter part, the Portable Uni-Tilt lift tables enables workers to unload containers with a minimum of exertion. It can be moved quickly throughout the facility with a fork truck and placed wherever needed. It features the same basic components and engineering design as the single scissor lift, and it can handle load capacities of up to 4,000 lbs. Fork pockets measure 8” X 3” , making them compatible with virtually any fork truck.

For small single site companies that have only a mini warehouse attached to the back of the building, the tight quarters make the uni-tilt not only a luxury, but in some cases a necessity.

There is little room to move in such locations, and a uni-tilt in the work area or near the storage racks can function can not only make work easier, but it may also be the only way of getting the work done at all.

If you are in the market for a quality ergonomic work table, Pallet Jacks, Warehouse Lighting or even a new or used industrial shelving, Easy Rack has just what you need. Give us a call at 713-553-1122 or ask our experts any questions regarding industrial or commercial material handing supplies.
