Orange Construction, Traffic, and Safety Cones
While something as basic as a traffic cone may seem insignificant at first glance, it is not. Easy Rack traffic cones allow you to separate restricted areas from main traffic areas in construction sites and areas where trucks are loading and unloading supplies. Highway cones allow road crews to safely work on damaged portions of the roadway, and parking cones can be set up in any number of places around a facility to create and regulate overflow-parking areas.
Easy Rack safety cones are durable, all weather devices that will endure the elements in any North American climate. Built from 100% PVC, they are intended to last for many years and endure any number of extreme environmental conditions. The construction of these cones prevents them from fading in the sun or cracking under variances in temperature. Most importantly, Easy Rack traffic cones retain their shape in spite of heavy rains, annual freezing, and hot summers. Easy Rack cones are orange in color to ensure maximum visibility at dawn, noon, twilight, or even dark under artificial lighting conditions.
All safety cones are made from a single cast, one-piece mold that makes them harder to damage and more convenient to quickly distribute. The exception to this is the economy safety cone, manufactured with a removable weighted bottom to provide extra stability when needed.
Easy Rack traffic cones come in three sizes: economy, standard, and heavy duty.
 Economy Safety/ All Weather Cones
Easy Rack’s -30 Economy sized all weather cone is the largest cone we carry. It measures 30 - ¾” high and weighs 17 pounds. The base is weighted to give it extra stability and can be removed when transporting the devices. Economy traffic cones are available 5 in a carton when you order from Easy Rack.
These safety cones help construction crews mark off areas where it is unsafe to drive or walk. Two reflectors wrap around the top and middle of the cone to make it extra visible. Each unit weighs 10 lbs and measures 27 -½” tall.
Standard duty models are ideal for highway work, normal traffic flow, and parking lot control under normal daylight conditions. They measure between 17 -¾” to 27 -¾”, and they weight from 4 to 6 pounds, making them easy to move around for roadwork and ongoing parking control.
