Industrial machinery frequently needs pressurized water or air delivered through high pressure air hoses and water hoses.  Reels designed to store, extend, and retract air hoses and water hoses are essential tools to safe and efficient operations.   Without these reels, hoses would have to be drug over floor space, around corners, and over obstructions.  This creates trip hazards for workers passing through the area, and it damages the hose.  Air hose reels, water hose reels, and electric hose reels keep hoses safely and compactly stored and have proven the best means of distributing hoses and retracting them.

Motor driven water hose reels

Electric Cord and Cable Reels

Electric hose reels are most frequently in heavy duty applications that require welding and grounding cable and electrical cord distribution.  Unit diameters are tailor made for specific wire gauges of 10, 12, and 16.  Electric cord reels can store up to 100 feet of cord.  They feature detachable roller guides and adjustable rubber cord stops to prevent too much cord from being distributed or retracted beyond desired lengths.  A multi-position locking racket keeps the cord in place, and an adjustable guide arm helps evenly guide cord and wire back onto the reel while it is being retrieved.

Spring Driven Hose Reels

Spring driven air hose reels are normally needed for hoses made to handle up to 5,000 PSI in pressure.  They can store up to 125 fee of hose and can be ordered in either steel or aluminum construction.  They feature detachable roller guides and an adjustable rubber hose stop.  A lubricated, factory-matched, cartridge-style spring motor retracts the reel on command without the need of an external power source.  An adjustable guide arm on the reel evenly winds the hose on the reel.

Hand Crank and Portable Hose Reels

These are large capacity industrial grade air hose reels and water hose reels are engineered to hold up to 700 feet of hose.  They feature a 10,000 PSI rating and a low profile outlet riser and open drum slot design.  You can choose a direct hand crank for retraction/retrieval, or you can order a bevel gear hand crank for easier and more ergonomic operation.  Hand crank air hose reels and water hose reels prevent backlash by means of adjustable tension brakes that slow the reel as increased pressure is applied to the hose.
