 A skeleton buckets is a skid steer attachment with a reinforced, heavy bottom and vertical tines in the front that are spaced a few inches apart. These tines allow small rocks and dirt to fall through to the ground, but they hold on to larger dirt and debris that need to be moved. The skeleton bucket features a leading edge, ¾” X 6” high carbon beveled blade that is punched to allow for an optional, bolt-on blade attached. This attachment is often added when working around trees in order to better cut through heavy root systems and stumps. Optional heavy duty teeth can be added when working with metal, concrete, or cinder block. The top of the skeleton bucket is reinforced by a closed box channel section, and heavy angle section at the bottom reinforces the unit’s structural backbone.
