Industrial applications driven by heavy machinery often require the use of heavy power cords, welding cords, or high pressure air/water hoses to operate the equipment. Exceptionally long and bulky hoses can be very problematic if they are not handled correctly. They can present a trip hazard when run across the ground where workers are walking, and they can be very cumbersome and difficult to move around by hand.

Heavy Duty Hose Reels are made for the safe distribution and retrieval of exceptionally long, wide-diameter hoses, power cords, and welding cords. They features additional frame supports to maintain stability and minimize vibrations, and they also feature special drum designs that ensure hoses are guided off the reel and back onto the reel without tangling. Many heavy duty hose reels are spring-driven, retractable reels; others are motor driven or hand crank reels. Some are designed specifically to eliminate electrostatic buildup in volatile atmospheres where sparks can cause explosions.

Heavy Duty and Super Heavy Duty Safety Hose Reels
In chemical plants, refineries, and other combustible refineries, the patented slow retrieval mechanisms of these spring-driven, heavy-duty reels prevent static buildup that could spark an explosion. The controlled rate of retrieval is 80% slower than that of a conventional hose reel and requires no motor or external power source. Components and hoses also last longer with this heavy duty reel because it does not slam the hose on to the hub at the end of retrieval.

Dual High Capacity Hose Reel
These heavy duty high pressure hose reels are designed for large hose diameters with high volume delivery in low and medium pressures. Heavy duty steel cross supports on all four corners give the reel extra strength and rigidity.

Super Hub, Heavy Duty Hose Reel
The larger chassis and frames on these reels allow for hoses of lengths and larger diameters. Dual axles keep the unit stable and minimize vibration during use.

Compact Heavy Duty Hose Reel
Believe it or not, we actually have a compact heavy duty hose reel that is highly portable and can be installed almost anywhere. These units are made for tubing and air/water pressure hoses and are extremely light weight and easy to install.

Large Capacity Welding Reels
You can obtain either hand crank welding hose reels or motor driven reels through Easy Rack. Both model types are intended for us with exceptionally large diameter hoses of long length. Motorized heavy duty reels are especially useful for managing long, twin line welding hoses. They feature dual brass swivel inlets on either side of the reel to guide the hose during distribution and retrieval and an open drum slot design with direct bevel gear drive.

Compact Heavy Duty Welding Reels
These reels are compact and light weight. They can be used in a variety of facilities and environments. In spite of their small size, they are extremely sturdy because of their steel construction and “U” shaped form.
