Steel Security Gates

Steel security gates limit access to restricted areas for security and safety purposes. Made out of a strong, impenetrable lattice of 14-gauge channel steel, a steel security gate cannot be pushed or broken down. Because the lattice is technically mostly empty space, however, it provides clear visibility for surveillance, and it allows for building ventilation of fumes and excess heat. There are four basic types of models we provide: single steel security gates, double steel security gates, door gates, and portable gates. Single and Double steel gates are mounted on hinge pins that allow you to swing them to the side like a doorway. The center of the gate is stabilized and reinforced. by a drop pin that prevents it from caving in when pushed either from the center or the top. This design makes the protective barrier both durable and vandal resistant.

Steel Security Door Gates
These gates are will limit access to any standard size door in a commercial building. We sell door gates that fit all door sizes, and we will manufacture custom-sized gates on request. Steel security door gates offer industrial clients a versatile design that allows them to be mounted to lock on either the left or the right. Steel security door gates will mount on either the door frame recess or the outer wall surrounding the door frame. Both mounting positions allow you to swing the gate out of the way when not in use.

Single Steel security gates
These gates are made from a single lattice of steel that stretches out to cover the entire entrance of any number of larger commercial doorways, such as bay doors or garage type doors. Standard locking position is on the left side, but custom ordered right side locking gates can be requested through your Easy Rack representative. To prevent the gate from losing its center, single steel security gates feature a drop pin in the center which provides added stability in wider openings.

Double Steel Security Gates
Just as the name tells you, double steel security gates are two steel lattices that connect together in the center. This design allows either one side or both sides to be swung completely 180 degrees out of the way when necessary. These are the favored steel security gates that many clients prefer to use in front of dock entrances that have heavy vehicle traffic, such as fork trucks, pallet trucks, pickups, and vans.

Portable Steel Security Gates
These gates are found in almost every construction site these days. They are the ultimate portable security tool. When they are folded up they are only 6.5ʼ high-- small enough to fit through a standard door, and compact enough for you to store them out of site.
