You can choose between a 45 degree angle or a 60 degree angle to the 6” discharge opening. If you have special-sized drums in diameters 15-7/8” to 23-3/8”, you can also obtain drum cones in these cylinder sizes as well.

We strongly recommend that if you use a drum cone with a slide gate when you are pouring powdered material. Coarse granulated products are better poured through an Iris gate. The iris gate is made from a flexible sleeve and a handle that revolves around the sleeve to open and close it for use. The iris gate is made to be used with products that have up to 60lbs. per 3ft of density. Anything at or below this range can be safely poured without clogging the sleeve.

You can also order specialty drum cones. Units are available with a valve flange that will attach to the valve of your choice. Other drum cones can be obtained that feature no valve or slide gate and are simply 6” spouts that make pouring quicker and easier.
